Founded in 2006 and established in Napa Valley since 2017, Brick & Mantel is a full-service interior design studio and curated home furnishings showroom. We create highly personal interiors through thoughtful space planning, enduring materials, custom furnishings and careful attention to how each client lives.

About Anne

A native of Northern California, Anne Alderson founded Brick & Mantel in 2006 and has led the studio in Napa Valley since 2017. Before relocating to Napa, she operated full-service interior design studios in Truckee and Petaluma.
Anne discovered design at 19 while taking the lead on the construction of a custom home. She later earned her degree in interior design from the University of Nevada, Reno, building a career that now spans complete residences, renovations, kitchens and baths, custom cabinetry, lighting and furnishings.
Known for an approachable and collaborative design process, Anne has developed lasting relationships with clients throughout Wine Country and Northern California. Her work is grounded in the belief that every home should reflect the story of the people who live there.
